55 Milton is a 184,500 square foot, 156-unit Multi Family facility on approximately 3.4 acres in Southwest Atlanta. This project includes a 5/6 split building with on-site leasing office and amenities, and retail space. The building is wood framed with slab on grade, exterior brick and cement siding, unconditioned corridors, elevators, and mixture of shingle and TPO roofing with parapets. Interior and exterior amenities include community room, fitness area, mail center, community laundry facility and sitting areas throughout the building as well as additional storage rooms, community garden, playground, and grill area. This project is considered type R-2 occupancy classification, and Type IIIA construction. The project followed the National Green Building Standard program. Four of the units are for the mobility impaired, and four additional units being for the sight and hearing impaired. Its location is in a rapidly growing area of the city on the new Beltline extension.
This project is an affordable housing apartment and is part of the LIHTC program in Georgia.
